Lecturer – Business Digitalisation

About the role

We are seeking a Lecturer to teach Business Digitalisation within our School of Business Management. The role focuses on developing students' analytical thinking alongside AI tools, helping them understand when to trust, override, or combine AI outputs with human judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver programmes in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, and AI using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, and SQL.
• Teach predictive analytics, machine learning, clustering, dimension reduction, and time‑series analysis.
• Guide learners in building data‑driven solutions, lightweight prototypes, and project management skills.
• Integrate generative and agentic AI into curricula and ensure responsible AI usage.
• Develop continuing‑education modules for professionals and create authentic assessments of analytical reasoning.
• Maintain and update curriculum, labs, and learning materials, incorporating Python‑based workflows.
• Collaborate with academic teams, industry partners, and stakeholders to keep content relevant to workforce needs.
• Provide mentorship, pastoral care, career guidance, and support for internships.
• Participate in outreach, recruitment, and internationalisation activities.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or Education with a strong analytics focus.
• Minimum three years of experience in analytics, training delivery, or professional development.
• Strong analytical capability with experience turning data insights into business decisions.
