Lecturer – Human‑Centred Design for AI & Cloud Innovation

About the role

This full‑time Lecturer position focuses on delivering high‑quality education in Human‑Centred Design for AI & Cloud Innovation. You will teach and mentor learners in design thinking, product development, and technology‑driven solutioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning units covering design thinking, human‑centred design, product design, prototyping, testing, validation and iterative development.
• Teach engineering problem‑solving, systems thinking and solution development.
• Lead innovation management, entrepreneurship and technobusiness modules.
• Integrate cloud platforms, AI, IoT, digital twins and data analytics into curriculum and projects.
• Create industry‑relevant assessments, experiential learning activities and supervise student and industry‑based projects.
• Mentor learners in design thinking, innovation and product development.
• Build industry partnerships to support applied learning and stay current with emerging trends.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Design, Innovation, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 3–5 years of industry or practical experience in engineering design, product development or technology‑enabled solutions.
• Experience with design thinking, prototyping, user‑centred design and project‑based learning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and digital technologies; experience in AI, IoT, automation, digital twins or data analytics is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Professional certifications in engineering, innovation, design, cloud technologies or project management are a plus.
