About the role
The Asian Culinary Institute is seeking an experienced pastry and baking professional to join our faculty as a Lecturer. You will inspire and mentor adult learners, ensuring they acquire the skills needed to excel in the food and beverage industry.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and assess full‑time and part‑time WSQ pastry & baking curricula.
- Conduct curriculum reviews and continuous improvements aligned with the Skills framework.
- Coach and mentor learners on educational and career pathways.
- Collaborate with industry partners on projects and consultancy assignments.
- Manage outreach activities to promote the institute and its courses.
- Perform administrative and academic duties as required.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in pastry & baking.
- Proven experience in the F&B industry, specifically in pastry and baking.
- Possession of an ACLP or DACE certification.
- Passionate about lifelong learning and education.
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to troubleshoot effectively.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
