Logistics Cost Analyst

About the role

The Logistics Cost Analyst will monitor financial and operational expenses for Satair’s logistics cost centres in Singapore, China and Dubai. The role bridges Logistics Operations and Finance, ensuring supplies and services are procured efficiently while keeping spend within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Track actual spend against operating budgets, identify variances and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Review and approve expenses in line with Satair financial policies.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and monitor cost‑saving programmes such as renegotiations and alternative sourcing.
• Oversee end‑to‑end purchase order lifecycle for packaging, consumables, facility services and equipment maintenance.
• Run RFQs/RFPs, negotiate contracts with logistics vendors and monitor vendor performance.
• Resolve GR/IR discrepancies to ensure timely payments.
• Maintain procurement compliance, documentation and support internal/external audits.
• Generate weekly and monthly financial reports and develop dashboards for cost visibility using SAP.
