Logistics Manager

About the role

PSA BDP is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead operational excellence across its logistics teams. The role oversees day‑to‑day operations, drives profit‑and‑loss accountability for customers, and cultivates a strong customer‑service culture.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and security standards.
• Conduct audits of outgoing documentation and lead regular team and inter‑department meetings to resolve bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain backup plans, cross‑train staff, and manage manpower planning and deployment.
• Promote customer‑service excellence by responding promptly to client inquiries, holding monthly operation meetings, and addressing complaints with corrective actions.
• Lead people management activities, including performance appraisals, coaching, and resource distribution to achieve productivity targets.
• Monitor operating costs, keep them within control, and pursue business development opportunities with existing clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations with responsibility for P&L.
• Strong leadership skills to coach teams, conduct performance reviews, and drive operational improvements.
• Ability to plan manpower resources, manage costs, and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
• Customer‑focused mindset with experience handling client communications and issue resolution.
