Management Accountant

About the role

The Management Accountant will oversee the full set of accounts for a petrochemical operation, ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting. The role involves close interaction with the Chinese headquarters and requires strong analytical abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including sales, purchases, AR/AP entries and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Prepare month‑end journal entries, accruals and depreciation schedules.
• Perform cash balance reconciliations and account balance reviews.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and management reports.
• Assist with invoicing, debit/credit notes and reconciliation of AR/AP, including inter‑company transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum five years of accounting experience in the petrochemical industry or relevant audit experience.
• Preferable experience at a Big Four audit firm.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
