Manager, Cyber Threat Management & Security Operations

About the role

The Manager, Cyber Threat Management & Security Operations leads the organization’s proactive cybersecurity capabilities. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, prioritising and mitigating cyber threats before they impact the business, working across SOC, infrastructure, network, cloud and application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mature the enterprise Cyber Threat Management program, establishing threat‑informed defence strategies.
• Translate emerging threat intelligence into actionable security controls, detection content and risk‑mitigation initiatives.
• Build and manage Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities, develop intelligence requirements and conduct proactive threat hunting across endpoints, cloud, network and enterprise systems.
• Own detection engineering processes, create and optimise detection use cases, and improve detection coverage against MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
• Direct the enterprise vulnerability management program, applying risk‑based prioritisation using threat intelligence, exploitability and business criticality.
• Partner with SOC teams to enhance detection quality, reduce false positives and drive continuous security analytics improvements.
• Provide strategic threat reporting and recommendations to Information Security leadership.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and mature enterprise‑wide cyber threat management initiatives.
• Experience working closely with SOC, infrastructure, network, cloud and application teams.
• Strong understanding of threat‑informed defence, risk prioritisation and security governance.
