Manufacturing Operations Controller

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Controller to support its semiconductor and display equipment business in Singapore. The role will own key financial forecast cycles, ensure data integrity, and partner with Operations, Business Units and FP&A to drive finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contributor to financial forecast cycles, guaranteeing task accuracy and data integrity.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Operations, Business Units and FP&A, influencing decisions.
• Drive complex finance projects with direct exposure to senior management.
• Review, monitor and authorize finance transactions for sub‑groups within the finance organization.
• Prepare detailed financial models and executive‑level presentations.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth of expertise in finance discipline and related processes.
• Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices.
• Leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements and complexity.
• Solves complex problems using sophisticated analytical thinking and innovative solutions.
