Manufacturing Team Lead – Oil & Gas (SGD 6k‑8k)

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead to head a precision‑machining team within our Oil & Gas division in Singapore. The role combines hands‑on machining, routing creation and cross‑functional coordination to keep production flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and assign daily tasks to a team of machinists to resolve production and engineering challenges.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings using ERP systems to optimise workflow.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide set‑up and execution.
• Communicate with design, quality and planning functions to ensure alignment and rapid problem resolution.
• Perform machine set‑up and operate multi‑axis equipment when required to maintain continuity.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Precision Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• Strong technical knowledge of turning, milling and turn‑mill operations.

Required skills

• Precision machining and advanced multi‑axis machining techniques.
• CAD software – AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• CAD/CAM programming – MasterCAM or equivalent.
• ERP systems for production planning and routing.
• Tooling, jig and fixture design.
