M&E Manager – Lead Mechanical & Electrical Projects

About the role

The M&E Manager will lead all Mechanical & Electrical works on construction projects, ensuring safe delivery, schedule adherence, budget control and compliance with statutory and client requirements. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and subcontractors while driving quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor M&E construction schedules aligned with the master programme.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submissions and technical proposals.
• Coordinate BIM models, lead clash detection reviews and resolve design conflicts.
• Supervise M&E engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, managing manpower and resources on site.
• Control project costs, review variation orders, evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement planning.
• Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Management System and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
• Lead commissioning, testing, handover activities and prepare as‑built documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and utility agencies to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
