Mechanical Engineer / Senior Engineer – Power Plant Maintenance

About the role

Join the Mechanical Maintenance team to ensure high reliability and availability of a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP). You will be responsible for maintaining major equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, HRSG, and plant auxiliaries while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, review and execute preventive, corrective and outage maintenance for CCPP equipment.
• Support troubleshooting activities including vibration analysis, borescope inspections and root‑cause analysis.
• Manage minor and major overhauls, develop scopes, supervise contractors and ensure QA/QC and safety compliance.
• Conduct functional tests, analyse failures and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and implement improvement initiatives to boost reliability and performance.
• Supervise maintenance contracts and develop work procedures.
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment, spares and services and support procurement.
• Collaborate with technical officers and technicians to maintain high workmanship standards during daily and shutdown operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) recognised by the Professional Engineers Board.
• Experience in a Combined Cycle Power Plant or Oil & Gas environment is an advantage; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid safety mindset with knowledge of Permit‑to‑Work, risk assessments and statutory safety requirements.
