Mechanical/Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management

About the role

The Engineer will lead and manage mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance teams across Singapore‑wide facilities projects. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, cost control and high service standards while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical executives and technicians to troubleshoot M&E equipment issues.
• Manage procurement of major supply and repair items for timely and cost‑effective availability.
• Plan, execute and supervise preventive and condition‑monitoring maintenance on major electrical equipment.
• Perform hands‑on preventive and breakdown maintenance to restore equipment functionality.
• Diagnose and rectify faults within specified timeframes to maintain reliability and safety.
• Control project costs while maintaining quality and service excellence.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
• Technical knowledge of M&E systems, including fire protection, AV and ACMV, is an advantage.
• Ability to perform shift work as required.
