Metrology/Backend Equipment Technologist / Technician (T2)

About the role

As a Metrology/Backend (MTBE) Equipment Technologist/Technician you will ensure the high availability and reliability of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and the automated material handling system (AMHS). You will work in a fast‑paced factory environment, diagnosing failures, performing root‑cause analysis and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot semiconductor manufacturing tools and AMHS equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance according to SOPs and quality standards.
• Document all maintenance actions and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, vendors and fellow technicians to resolve equipment issues.
• Support equipment engineers on tool improvement projects aimed at reducing downtime and enhancing performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement, equipment upgrade and reliability enhancement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or professional certificate in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
