Operations Executive

About the role

The Operations Executive will join the Operations Control Center to monitor international and domestic shipments throughout the supply chain. The role ensures shipments progress against key milestones and that any delays are identified and resolved quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor shipments from origin to final delivery using carrier portals and tracking platforms.
• Track progress against milestones such as pickup, departure, customs clearance, transshipment, arrival, warehouse processing, and delivery.
• Identify delays, exceptions, and risks, and escalate to relevant operational teams.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, warehouses, and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Update shipment milestones accurately in the systems.
• Investigate exceptions and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide status updates and recovery plans to sales and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and customer delivery requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports on shipment performance.
• Analyze trends and recommend process improvements for visibility and on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum ITE qualification or higher.
• Experience in logistics, shipment tracking, or supply‑chain operations is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Power BI (advantage).
• Knowledge of Google Sheets (advantage).
