Operations Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for an analytical and operationally‑driven pharmacist to join our team as an Operations Pharmacist. The role blends day‑to‑day pharmacy management with data analytics, process improvement, digital transformation and automation to enhance productivity, quality and service outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support daily pharmacy operations, including workflow, inventory and manpower management.
• Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Drive quality improvement and operational excellence projects to boost productivity and cost‑efficiency.
• Identify and implement digitisation and automation of manual processes.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to translate requirements into system solutions, including testing and implementation.
• Act as Pharmacy System Superuser, providing training, supporting adoption and managing contingency workflows.
• Apply analytics, AI and emerging technologies to solve operational challenges.
• Support cross‑functional strategic projects beyond Pharmacy.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and active practice.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows and process improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in data analysis, dashboard development and operational reporting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL or other programming languages is an advantage.
• Familiarity with automation, AI, machine learning or digital transformation is a plus.
