People Business Partner Lead – APJ

About the role

We are seeking a People Business Partner Lead for the Asia‑Pacific and Japan (APJ) region to act as the primary strategic HR partner for regional leaders. The role will translate business growth plans into proactive people and organisational strategies that enable the company to scale across diverse markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with APJ leadership to design organisational structures, workforce plans and leadership capability programmes.
• Identify organisational risks and opportunities early, providing independent advice to senior leaders.
• Shape and drive People programmes, adapting global initiatives to regional realities and ensuring adoption.
• Collaborate with the APJ People Operations Lead to align strategic priorities with operational execution.
• Act as a bridge between regional leaders and the global People organization, influencing company‑wide People strategy.

Required profile

• Significant experience in senior HR Business Partner or People leadership roles, preferably in high‑growth APJ businesses.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into proactive People and organisational initiatives.
• Strong expertise in organisational design, workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Demonstrated influence with senior leaders and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills across cultures, functions and geographies.
