Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow – Multimodal AI Research

About the role

The Wallenberg‑NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow will join Nanyang Technological University’s College of Computing and Data Science to lead cutting‑edge research on multimodal models, focusing on computer vision and machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Independently conduct research in computer vision, machine learning and multimodal AI.
• Produce research reports and publish in top‑tier conferences or journals.
• Provide guidance and support to students involved in the project.
• Participate in, and when needed lead, project meetings.
• Undertake any additional duties relevant to the research programme.

Required profile

• PhD or at least 8 years of experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Strong background in machine learning and computer vision; 3D vision experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated record of publications in venues such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, TPAMI, IJCV.
• Proficiency with scientific/engineering software such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras.
• Proven research ability evidenced by publications, conference papers or patents.
• Self‑motivated with experience managing R&D projects and understanding industrial needs.
