Procurement Manager - Professional Service (BPO)

About the role

ByteDance is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services. The role will partner with business units to design and optimise procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality vendor solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary business partner for BPO service needs, delivering and optimising procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with business owners to define procurement and supply strategies, providing feasibility analysis and innovative advice.
• Conduct global market benchmarking, analyse data, and build a high-quality, cost-optimised vendor base for BPO services.
• Manage daily supplier deliverables, implement performance measurement systems, and drive competition among vendors to secure supply and enhance flexibility.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in the BPO industry or 5+ years in a procurement role with category management experience.
• Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities with proven influencing skills.
• Analytical mindset capable of supporting strategic decisions and solving complex problems.
• Project-management experience handling multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and navigating organisational change.
• Willingness to travel regionally or internationally as required.
• Preferred: professional procurement certifications (CIPS, CPM, CPP), global BPO experience, and knowledge of procurement regulations and market trends.
