Production Specialist B – Manufacturing

About the role

As a Production Specialist B you will join Pepperl+Fuchs' Singapore subsidiary and take part in the manufacturing of electronic sensors and automation components. You will work on a daily production schedule, ensuring that each product is built, tested and packed to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machines, perform soldering, testing, packing and gluing tasks according to the production schedule.
• Follow work instructions and production documents, escalating any non‑conformities or quality issues.
• Record production data such as clock‑in times, defects and rejects.
• Apply safety procedures and report hazards immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area using 5S housekeeping principles.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Handle first‑level technical problems and support line‑balancing activities within work cells.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC in Engineering; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Experience in the electronics industry is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in assembly, machine handling or troubleshooting.
• Singaporean citizens or permanent residents.
