Project Engineer – Design (Maritime Automation)

About the role

NACOS Marine is looking for a motivated Project Engineer – Design to join its Singapore team. You will be responsible for creating and delivering high‑quality automation and control system designs for complex maritime projects, working closely with engineers, project managers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate project documentation, engineering drawings and HMI designs for OT systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop technical solutions that meet project objectives.
• Assess design changes, evaluate technical and cost impacts and advise stakeholders.
• Support project planning and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
• Participate in internal meetings, design reviews and milestone discussions.
• Maintain compliance with internal, customer‑specific quality, safety and cybersecurity standards.
• Provide technical input to colleagues and resolve design‑related issues promptly.
• Travel internationally for design coordination, testing or customer engagements as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience using EPLAN and SolidWorks for design and documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
