Purchasing Executive – Direct Procurement & Sourcing

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Executive to manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for projects, production, and subcontracted services. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery, cost efficiency, and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing cycle: RFQ, sourcing, PO issuance, order amendments and delivery follow‑up.
• Coordinate material deliveries to support production and project schedules while meeting OTIF targets.
• Develop sourcing strategies, negotiate pricing, lead times, commercial terms and supply agreements.
• Drive cost‑reduction, lead‑time improvement and supplier performance initiatives.
• Monitor material requirements, identify potential shortages, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Maintain accurate supplier, material, pricing and purchasing databases.
• Prepare and automate purchasing reports, data analysis and KPI tracking for management decisions.
• Collaborate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality and Finance to resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement or sourcing, preferably within an OEM manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supporting production/manufacturing purchasing, including materials, components, subcontracting or outside services.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with purchasing reports, data analysis and KPI monitoring.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (specific platforms not listed).
