Purchasing Executive – Singapore

About the role

Sealed Air Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Executive to lead sourcing, contract management, and vendor relationships for both direct and indirect purchases. Based at the Penjuru site, you will ensure procurement activities align with company policies, ISO standards, and cost‑reduction goals while supporting internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new vendors for a range of purchases.
• Negotiate terms, request quotations, and issue purchase orders.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 integrated management systems.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, sample approvals, and resolve supplier issues.
• Monitor product quality, address customer requirements, and manage documentation.
• Drive regular Cost Reduction Programs to achieve savings.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Purchasing Management, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing or purchasing within a manufacturing or service environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving and analytical mindset.

Required skills

• Interpretation of technical and dimensional drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance.
