QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all structural, architectural and M&E works meet the required quality standards before final inspections. You will work closely with subcontractors and internal teams to guarantee compliance with BCA’s Good Industry Practice and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform checks on structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to confirm readiness for inspections.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with method statements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance across all trades and ensure timely rectification of defects.
• Prepare and submit QA/QC reports and assist with QM submissions.
• Support yearly ISO audits and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Degree related to QA/QC or a closely associated field.
• Prior experience in the construction industry, preferably on condominium projects.

Required skills

• Construction quality control and assurance.
• Familiarity with BCA’s Good Industry Practice and method statements.
• Experience with ISO audit processes.
