M&E Manager – Main Contractor Building Projects

About the role

Our client, a renowned main contractor, is seeking an M&E Manager to lead mechanical, electrical and building services on large‑scale building and airport projects. The role offers an employee‑centric environment where you will drive productivity through technology and front‑loading of construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction plans in collaboration with related departments and coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Identify risks early, conduct root‑cause analyses, and apply corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead deployment of construction technologies, integrate production data into design drawings, and oversee Testing & Commissioning strategies.
• Formulate project schedules with key milestones such as Power Turn‑On, Water Turn‑On and equipment delivery.
• Manage MEP contracts, optimise cost, time and resources, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with BIM and design teams to coordinate M&E services and foster teamwork across site project teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Solid experience in MEP construction planning, equipment installation and project execution on projects exceeding S$100 million.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction technologies and quality/safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills with commercial awareness.
