QA/QC Manager – Data Center Construction (East Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the quality assurance and control programme for a new data centre project in Singapore's East area. You will ensure that all construction activities meet contractual, drawing and specification requirements while adhering to industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan, inspection checklists, procedures and reporting system.
• Review construction documents, material submissions and inspection records for completeness and compliance.
• Conduct and coordinate site inspections for civil, architectural and M&E works.
• Monitor materials, equipment and workmanship delivered to site.
• Manage defects, non‑conformance reports, punch lists and corrective actions through closure.
• Chair regular quality meetings and track outstanding issues.
• Supervise QA/QC inspectors and ensure proper documentation.
• Identify quality risks early and implement preventive or corrective measures.
• Drive continuous improvement throughout construction and handover.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in constructing data centre projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with data centre construction quality requirements, testing and commissioning procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 9001, ANSI/TIA‑942, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute Tier, ASTM, ACI and Singapore Standards.
• ISO 9001 Auditor, TIA‑942, Uptime Institute, commissioning or Green Mark certifications are advantageous.
