Quality Assurance Manager – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA function across HOYA Electronics’ advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Head of Application Engineering & Quality and the Site Managing Director, you will ensure that products consistently meet customer, regulatory and internal quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site Quality Strategy aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
• Lead the Quality Assurance function, establishing robust quality systems that improve product quality, process capability and manufacturing consistency.
• Set quality objectives, monitor key performance indicators and drive sustainable improvements in defect reduction and process performance.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Technology and Quality Control teams to embed quality into daily operations.
• Build a high‑performing quality organization and foster a culture of prevention, operational excellence and customer focus.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading quality assurance in a semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to drive product, process and customer quality through structured problem solving and risk management.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with cross‑functional teams and customer‑facing groups.
