About the role
The Quantity Surveyor will support the construction team by managing material procurement, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring accurate measurement of work progress. This role works closely with the Project Manager and subcontractors to prepare payment requests and settle final accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in purchasing all project work materials identified in the tender.
- Evaluate and select competent suppliers and subcontractors for construction works.
- Measure and determine quantities of work completed at any stage to prepare periodic progress payment requests for the client.
- Check and evaluate progress claims submitted by subcontractors in liaison with the Project Manager, verifying quantities and quality.
- Carry out contract administration duties.
- Assist in the settlement of final accounts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Required profile
- Preferable Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
- At least 3 years of experience working for a main contractor.
