Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage bidding, cost verification, and subcontractor payments. The role involves preparing tender bills of quantities, handling contract variations, and supporting the project team in cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and compile bidding information.
• Prepare payment claims and verify payments to subcontractors.
• Capture and track all contract variations and VOS.
• Calculate bidding quantities and guide other bidding staff.
• Prepare tender bills of quantities.
• Organize subcontract price negotiations and manage subcontract offers.
• Collect, sort, and check quantity calculations from other bidders.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date comprehensive unit price table for subcontract pricing.
• Complete bidding quotation lists and submit them for managerial review.
• Archive tender offer data.
• Perform quantity take‑offs.
• Prepare sub‑contract payment certificates and verify subcontractors’ variation orders.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a main‑contractor.
• Ability to source subcontractors for quotations.
• Capability to assist senior staff with substantiation for variation claims.
• Familiarity with tender documents, master drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Glodon software.
