Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support contract management and project coordination for construction projects. You will work under senior management to ensure accurate tendering, cost control, and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage tender submissions, quotations, cost estimates, and cost comparisons.
• Submit main contract progress claims and Variation Orders (VOs) with supporting documentation.
• Assess and process subcontractor and supplier progress claims and VOs, verifying quantities and contractual entitlements.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients on commercial and contractual matters.
• Assist senior contracts management in resolving contractual, commercial, and cost‑related issues.
• Maintain contract records, cost reports, claim records, and supporting documentation.
• Independently manage assigned responsibilities and meet submission and contractual deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of Quantity Surveying or Contracts experience in the Singapore construction industry.
• Experience with HDB building projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with tendering, progress claims, Variation Orders, subcontractor/supplier claims, and contract administration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using quantity surveying or contract administration tools.
