Regional Demand Planning Manager, APAC

About the role

Google is looking for a Regional Demand Planning Manager to lead demand and supply planning for its consumer hardware portfolio across the APAC region. The role partners with sales, marketing, finance and supply teams to ensure accurate forecasts, optimal inventory, and successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning process for the assigned region and product portfolio, providing strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Own the monthly cross‑functional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, driving decisions that mitigate risk and meet business targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply stakeholders to build consensus, communicate goals and track progress.
• Oversee demand and fulfillment planning activities, managing channel inventory throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct supply allocation exercises and supervise order fulfillment to ensure product availability.
• Support weekly coordination meetings and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of program or project management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supply‑chain operations experience focused on demand planning for consumer hardware.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English for effective communication with local and global partners.
• Preferred 8 years of direct demand and supply planning experience in complex environments, preferably in consumer hardware.
• Proven track record leading monthly S&OP cycles and new product launches.
• Strong analytical, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
