About the role
Young and research‑intensive Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) is ranked among the world’s top universities. Its College of Computing and Data Science seeks a Research Associate to develop new algorithms, implement and evaluate them numerically, and contribute to scholarly publications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new algorithms and conduct their theoretical analysis.
- Implement algorithms efficiently and evaluate them through numerical experiments.
- Collaborate with the principal investigator and team members to write research papers.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player.
- Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills.
- In‑depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
- Ability to formulate hypotheses, design and execute numerical experimental plans, and report project progress.
