Reservations Consultant

About the role

The Reservations Consultant is responsible for handling room and food & beverage reservation enquiries via phone, email or fax, ensuring accurate processing and timely confirmation. The role supports the hotel’s revenue goals by promoting products, upselling, and delivering high‑level service to guests and travel agents.

Key responsibilities

• Promote hotel rooms and F&B offerings with detailed product knowledge.
• Upsell services and packages to maximise revenue.
• Record and process reservation requests accurately across all channels.
• Quote suitable packages and recommend options for potential guests.
• Manage “no‑show” cases, investigate and document outcomes.
• Create, update and maintain group booking and billing information.
• Monitor special rates, offers and promotions.
• Track reservation levels, occupancy rates and report to management.
• Prepare reports for travel agents, business houses and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Front Office and F&B teams to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational certificate in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant reservation or front‑office experience.
