Resident Technical Officer (Architectural)

About the role

Aedas is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (Architectural) to lead the architectural delivery of assigned projects from inception to completion. The role combines on‑site supervision, coordination with contractors and consultants, and support to the design team to ensure projects meet client specifications, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct general site supervision and organise regular site meetings.
• Coordinate with contractors and trade partners, issuing work orders and ensuring compliance with design intent.
• Assist the Architectural Design Team in implementing design changes and updates on‑site.
• Manage day‑to‑day site matters, including documentation of progress and coordination of design details with multidisciplinary consultants.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date site records on work progress.
• Perform any additional duties related to the project as instructed.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10 years of experience supervising architectural and civil‑structural projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, finishing, and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with local construction practices, building codes and regulations.
• Good interpersonal and supervisory skills, able to work effectively with site staff and external partners.
