Construction Project Manager – Electrical Works

About the role

The Construction Project Manager (Electrical Works) will oversee all electrical engineering aspects of construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to Singapore regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage electrical works for construction and engineering projects.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of power distribution, switchgear, transformers, lighting, and cable routing systems.
• Review project drawings, technical specifications and method statements, and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities.
• Prepare schedules, cost estimates and progress reports, monitor project progress and resolve technical and site issues.
• Manage site supervisors, workers and subcontractors, conduct site inspections and ensure quality control and workplace safety compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in electrical works within construction projects, preferably in Singapore.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
• Familiarity with Singapore standards, codes and BCA requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and project management tools.
