Revenue Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Revenue Controller to lead revenue accounting for our crypto product portfolio. The role will ensure accurate revenue recognition, support month‑end close, and partner with finance teams to drive financial insight across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the functional expert for revenue accounting of cryptocurrency products.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Entity Controllers to record revenue transactions accurately and timely.
• Ensure revenue recognition complies with company policies and IFRS standards.
• Perform detailed analysis of revenue streams, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Support local audits, statutory and regulatory filings.
• Implement process improvements to enhance month‑end close efficiency.
• Evaluate financial impact of new products and initiatives.
• Lead implementation and optimisation of financial systems, focusing on automation and scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in FinTech, financial services or Big 4 public accounting, with at least 4 years in revenue accounting or controllership.
• Bachelor’s degree and a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, business combinations, derivatives, hedging, NFTs and other complex blockchain products.
• Proven ability to design and maintain effective controls in a highly regulated environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort working in a fast‑growing, evolving organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Netsuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Tableau for reporting and visualisation.
