Risk Data Analyst – Transform Compliance with Data

About the role

OCBC is seeking a Risk Data Analyst to help modernise compliance and risk surveillance across its Consumer Financial Services. You will work with cross‑functional teams, applying data‑driven techniques and emerging GenAI tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of risk monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design and implementation of data‑driven solutions that enhance risk surveillance for Sales, AML and Operational risk.
• Transform compliance processes by introducing data‑led techniques and generative AI to boost team performance.
• Champion continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting the latest analytical and AI tools.
• Standardise and document key processes to ensure high, consistent quality of work.
• Act as the Group Data Office expert on regulatory and compliance‑related data matters.

Required profile

• Stay updated on industry risk‑surveillance trends and emerging capabilities.
• Previous data‑analytics experience in risk surveillance or audit, covering at least two of AML, Sales, Operations, or Fraud.
• Strong understanding of how data analytics can improve risk surveillance and control monitoring.
• Experience handling large datasets from banking systems, transaction platforms, case‑management tools or operational workflow systems.
