Sales Development Manager

About the role

Alteryx is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to lead a team of Sales Development Representatives. The role focuses on building new pipeline, qualifying inbound leads, and executing targeted outbound prospecting to drive customer acquisition and corporate growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a high‑performing demand generation/inside sales team.
• Hire, train, coach, and motivate SDRs to achieve strong sales results and personal development.
• Use Salesforce.com to track team KPIs, lead movement, and pipeline health.
• Report individual and team performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refine Alteryx’s demand generation model.
• Serve as liaison between lead development, commercial sales, and field sales teams.
• Provide metrics‑based feedback to marketing and develop prospect messaging tools.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of B2B lead generation and team‑management experience, preferably in an enterprise “land‑and‑expand” sales model.
• Proven record of exceeding personal and team quotas.
• Strong ability to engage senior‑level executives, both internal and external.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
• BA/BS degree.
• Entrepreneurial drive, ambition, and a strong work ethic.
