Sales Manager – Food & Hospitality Asia

About the role

The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) by acquiring new exhibitors and sponsors for Informa Markets' events. Based in the Bugis Junction Towers office, the role focuses on building relationships, entering new markets, and delivering integrated sales packages.

Key responsibilities

• Generate assigned revenue through booth, sponsorship, advertisement, and integrated package sales to new and lapsed customers.
• Identify and develop new business leads via cold calling, industry events, and market research.
• Collaborate with Exhibitor Marketing to create attraction campaigns that stimulate business development.
• Support on‑site re‑booking of new customers and transition them to the account management team.
• Assist in retaining existing customers when required.
• Account‑manage newly acquired customers through their first show cycle, ensuring a positive experience.
• Work with Event Directors and Sales Operations to allocate floor‑plan space for high‑value accounts.
• Adopt and maintain the sales pipeline process and related data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within events, exhibitions, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong ability to develop and nurture client relationships from prospecting to closing.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
