Sales Manager

About the role

Atlantic Gate, a Swiss‑headquartered logistics group, is expanding its commercial footprint across Asia. We are seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Manager to drive freight forwarding business growth in Singapore, leveraging an existing network of direct shippers and beneficial cargo owners (BCOs).

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and win new direct shipper and BCO accounts across strategic trade lanes.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to proposal preparation, negotiation and contract closure.
• Grow existing accounts to increase shipment volume, customer retention and profitability.
• Achieve and exceed revenue, volume and margin targets while supporting overall company growth.
• Stay updated on market trends, carrier developments and trade lane opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven success in freight forwarding sales, especially Ocean and Air Freight.
• Established network of direct shippers and BCOs in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of international trade lanes, carrier solutions and logistics market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, negotiate commercial agreements and close profitable business.
• Results‑oriented, proactive and highly self‑motivated.
