Sales & Retail Support Manager

About the role

The Sales & Retail Support Manager will lead product and service initiatives across our retail network, ensuring attractive assortments, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder relationships. Based in Central Bugis, you will work closely with the merchandising, sales, and logistics teams to drive profitability and brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and curate attractive product assortments for in‑store events and external stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and propose new business opportunities to improve profitability.
• Establish and enforce organisational standards to ensure service and operational excellence.
• Deliver product training to Retail Promoters and ensure they have up‑to‑date product knowledge.
• Oversee product displays, POP materials, and price tags in line with company and department store guidelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely support and communication.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc reports based on collected data.
• Monitor inventory levels across stores and assist with stock movements and event setups.
• Mentor the sales team, answer procedural and technical queries, and promote skill development.
• Manage daily retail operations, including inventory processing, logistics coordination and occasional weekend support.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, lead monthly sales meetings and collaborate with the sales team to meet targets.
• Support the Merchandising Team with stock‑taking activities and ensure compliance with SOPs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a sales manager in the retail industry.
• Proven background in retail sales, preferably managing retail outlets or department‑store counters.
• Experience with major department stores such as Takashimaya, CK Tangs or Isetan is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work late hours during event setups and teardowns.
