Sales Team Leader (Travel Industry)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Team Leader with a passion for travel to drive a high‑performing team of Travel Specialists. In this hybrid role you will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on sales and operations management to deliver memorable travel experiences and achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coach a team of Travel Specialists to meet individual and collective sales targets, KPIs and service standards.
• Monitor daily performance and conversion rates, providing regular feedback and training to improve productivity.
• Oversee inquiries and bookings across multiple channels, ensuring adherence to SOPs and maximizing conversion.
• Handle VIP or complex bookings personally, demonstrating best‑in‑class client relationship management.
• Analyse post‑travel feedback and performance data to identify trends, service gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Support marketing initiatives as a secondary responsibility to help grow the business.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a travel agency environment, covering sales, product or operations.
• Deep knowledge of the travel industry and genuine enthusiasm for travel.
• Highly sales‑oriented mindset with strong team spirit.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and customer‑service abilities.
