SAP FICO Architect Senior Manager – Consulting

About the role

PwC is seeking a senior SAP FICO Solution Architect to join its consulting practice. You will work with a team of problem‑solvers to shape deals, design solutions and drive delivery excellence while leveraging AI‑led innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central solution architect for SAP FICO opportunities, supporting qualification, definition and client presentations.
• Lead solution scoping, estimation, pricing and proposal development, including RFP/RFI responses and workshops.
• Manage end‑to‑end SAP FICO implementations from blueprinting through post‑go‑live support.
• Conduct requirement‑gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Design, configure and test SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders) and ensure integration with other SAP components (MM, SD).
• Oversee unit, integration and user‑acceptance testing, data migration, authorization design and cut‑over planning.
• Provide end‑user training, documentation and change‑enablement support.
• Promote PwC delivery methodologies, AI adoption and digital capabilities within finance solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading workshops and stakeholder engagements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of SAP FICO solutioning experience.
• Experience on 3–5 large, complex SAP implementations, preferably S/4HANA.
• Deep expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CCA, PCA and controlling.
• Proven ability to lead full‑cycle finance transformation projects.
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
