Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead consolidation activities and support the accounting function across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Working closely with local and international finance teams, the role is pivotal for month‑end closes, annual reporting and integration of newly acquired entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate the timely closing of consolidated financial results.
• Maintain accounting entries, including permanent and intercompany elimination entries.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance within ERP systems and handle intercompany transactions.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and prepare monthly consolidated reporting packages.
• Support the preparation of the annual report and collaborate with subsidiary finance teams on monthly close activities.
• Assist with acquisition integration and coordinate external audit processes.
• Maintain Operational Authority and Approval Limits documentation and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance projects and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a large audit firm, multinational corporation, or publicly listed company.
• Strong working knowledge of SFRS(I) and hands‑on experience in financial consolidation and reporting.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, meticulous with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or HFM.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop or work with macros.
• Familiarity with automation tools and process‑automation initiatives.
