Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team at our Singapore headquarters. You will act as a key business partner, providing financial insights and supporting decision‑making across our regional entities in Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day general accounting activities for all regional companies.
• Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, schedules and disclosure notes using LucaNet.
• Maintain accurate intercompany transactions and ensure proper elimination during consolidation.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to track budget performance and ensure correct cost allocation and revenue recognition.
• Lead the annual audit process with external auditors and prepare audit working files.
• Liaise with regional service providers, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents and local authorities to ensure compliance.
• Mentor finance executives across entities and review their work for quality.
• Support the NetSuite ERP implementation, including data migration, chart‑of‑accounts setup, workflow configuration, UAT and post‑go‑live redesign.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, policy review and internal‑control improvements.
• Identify and drive process improvements and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• 5‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably in multi‑entity, multi‑currency group consolidation.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or ACCA).
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, motivation and team‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) for liaison with Mandarin‑speaking vendors and regions.
