Senior Architect – Solution Design (Banking)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Architect with deep experience in solution development and IT system deployment, preferably within the financial and banking sector. The role involves designing robust, scalable solutions and guiding multiple squads to align with the enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and documentation of end‑to‑end solution architectures.
• Apply microservice design principles, SOLID principles and common design patterns.
• Drive the go‑live of at least one major IT system development project as the Solution Architect.
• Define shared components used across teams and ensure compliance with the overarching architecture.
• Collaborate with business, technical and operations stakeholders to agree on solutions that meet functional, technical and operational requirements.
• Develop and enforce guidelines for development, programming, branching models and API standards.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, fault‑tolerance, scalability and integration criteria.
• Provide supervision and support to technical teams when needed.
• Propose and evaluate technical options, including database solutions, to select the best approach for timeline and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in solution development, system deployment and integration.
• At least 5 years of experience in the financial/banking sector.
• Proven track record of leading a solution architecture project to successful go‑live.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and guide multiple development squads.
