Senior Assistant Executive – Public Communications

About the role

This position is part of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Civilian Generalist career track, supporting the Central Narcotics Bureau's Public Communications Unit. The role focuses on managing public feedback and assisting with media, corporate communications, and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Handle public enquiries, feedback, and appeals via e‑services, email and letters, ensuring timely and courteous responses.
• Maintain and update feedback records in a Customer‑Relationship Management System (CRMS) for case tracking and knowledge management.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate and relevant information.
• Support daily media monitoring, media publicity, and content creation for publications.
• Provide administrative support including procurement, inventory, visitor management, and secretariat duties.
• Assist the Communications Division with event management when required.
