Senior Commercial Analyst – Ports & Terminals (APAC)

About the role

DP World is looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to shape commercial decisions across its Ports & Terminals business in the APAC region. You will turn complex data into actionable insights that drive revenue, optimise margins and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the regional performance tracking framework, analysing revenue, volume and margin metrics by shipping line.
• Lead semi‑annual reviews of regional and competitor tariff benchmarks and recommend adjustments.
• Analyse market dynamics, customer behaviour and network developments to inform pricing strategies.
• Partner with Cluster teams to validate budget assumptions and strengthen forecasting.
• Support strategic initiatives with commercial analyses and recommendations.
• Maintain a contract register and tariff repository, ensuring governance of expiries and renewals.
• Act as commercial data steward, collaborating with the Data & Business Intelligence team.
• Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly commercial reports and ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Statistics or related field.
• Proven experience in commercial strategy, business analytics or client management within ports operations or shipping.
• Strong understanding of ports and liner business dynamics (preferred).
• Experience conducting industry and market research using commercial databases.
