Senior Cook – Indian & South Indian Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced senior cook to lead the preparation of authentic North and South Indian dishes for our restaurant on Jurong Island. The successful candidate will ensure high‑quality meals, maintain food safety standards, and support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble ingredients for a wide range of Indian menu items.
• Cook high‑quality meals according to company recipes, including naan, tandoor chicken, biryani, dosa, sambar, and more.
• Maintain proper storage temperatures and ensure freshness of all ingredients.
• Keep workstations, utensils, and preparation areas clean and sanitized.
• Monitor inventory, reorder supplies as needed, and assist fellow cooks to meet order deadlines.
• Adhere strictly to food health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a cook, especially with Indian cuisine.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
