Senior Director Tax

About the role

The Senior Director Tax will shape and execute the tax strategy for the headquarters and its global subsidiaries. This senior leader will ensure compliance, manage risk, and drive tax‑related digital transformation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in formulating the headquarters' tax planning strategy and oversee implementation across subsidiaries and branches.
• Adjust tax planning schemes in line with group policies and evolving regulations.
• Assess business operations, conduct tax risk reviews, develop mitigation plans, and monitor execution to reduce exposure.
• Track fiscal and tax policy changes in operating countries and provide proactive risk‑management recommendations.
• Analyze tax implications of major business decisions and advise stakeholders.
• Design and standardise tax processes, promote tax digitalisation, and support the development of tax data information systems.
• Provide tax consultation and training to subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Law, or related fields; CPA, CTA, or ACCA preferred.
• 8+ years of tax experience, including at least 5 years in international tax practice.
• Experience in a multinational corporation or a Big Four firm.
• Deep expertise in international taxation and transfer pricing with a proven track record in cross‑border structuring.
• Fluent English, capable of liaising directly with overseas teams and advisors.
• Strong strategic thinking, cross‑functional coordination, and team‑management capabilities.
