Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the planning, design and execution of mechanical and electrical services for building and infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role involves guiding junior engineers and coordinating with authorities, clients and contractors to deliver projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Guide a team of junior engineers in design, execution and completion of projects.
• Plan and design mechanical & electrical services for buildings and infrastructure (substations, power, lighting, security, data cabling, PA, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, gas, vertical transportation, etc.).
• Liaise with Singapore authorities, clients, consultants and contractors.
• Manage projects from pre‑development through to completion, including cost planning, life‑cycle costing and evaluation of payment and variation orders.
• Attend and lead project meetings, site inspections and other coordination activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of hands‑on design experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Proven track record handling full‑cycle building services projects with strong electrical design background.
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and authority submission processes.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, with strong presentation and communication skills.
